YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US!

We know that children’s safety is a key concern for parents. Kidz Connection has its own security team known as “The Green Team.” These green-vested volunteers are responsible for checking children in to and out of their classroom. They are also on duty in the children’s areas throughout each service. For your convenience, check-in starts 30 minutes prior to service and ends 15 minutes after service begins.

Parents, here is our easy 3-step process for checking your child into and out of Kidz Connection:

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES:

Step 1 – Check-in at one of the kiosks located in the Kidz Connection Lobby. You'll receive a Parent Security Number, your child's nametag, and an attendance tag. The Parent Security Number should be worn by the parents on their jacket or shirt, in plain sight.

Step 2 - Proceed to the check-in counter located near your child’s classroom. All of our children’s classrooms are located on the main floor in our Children’s Wing for your convenience. Your child will receive a name tag, which will be marked with your Parent Security Number. A Green Team member will greet you, verify that you are wearing your parent tag, and obtain your child's attendance tag. Children’s drop off areas are as follows:

Nursery: Birth - 23 months

Early Childhood: 2 year olds - Yellow Room

3 year olds - Orange Room

4 year olds - Blue Room

5 year olds - Purple Room

Elementary: K - 1st Grades - Room 113

2nd - 5th Grades - Elementary Worship Center

Step 3 – Leave your child in the care of the Kidz Connection staff. If your child needs you during the service hour, your Parent Security Number will be displayed on the lighted pager display board located next to each side screen in the main Worship Center. If your number does appear, please exit the Worship Center through the back main doors and proceed to the Kidz Connection Lobby for more information.

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:

Step 1 – Return to your child’s classroom immediately after service.

Step 2 – Wear your Parent Security Number in plain sight as you enter the classroom area. Both you and your child need to wear your tags displaying matching numbers in order to exit the classroom.

Step 3 – As you exit the classroom with your child, Green Team members will check for matching tags. Please do not remove any tags until you have passed all security checkpoints.

If you or your child have lost your Security Number, please be prepared to present a valid driver’s license to the Green Team member on duty. They will need identification in order to release your child.
