In March 2012, we had a seven member missions team travel to Indonesia to MAKE WAVES by serving with one of our partners, API (Asia Pacific International). Our team went to assist API in their medical clinics (serving around 250 adults and 200 children) and they helped to open a “Smart Point” school in one of the villages (serving around 100 students), a school that Parkview is supporting with your Cannonball contributions.

Palm Sunday weekend was very special this year at Parkview's Orland Park and Lockport Campuses! 109 people prepared for an Easter celebration that they're not likely to forget by following Christ's example of baptism by immersion the weekend of March 31st & April 1st.

That's 109 people ALL IN AND MAKING WAVES!

Jr. High and High School students from the Orland and Lockport Campuses will be making waves this summer in the Czech Republic, Tennessee, and Joplin, Missouri!

A 9-member team just returned from Vida Nueva Ministries in Piedras Negras, Mexico where they did some light construction and maintenance at the school run by missionaries Norma and Jair Costillo. Making more WAVES in Mexico!!

The weekend of February 18th & 19th, Parkview packed the New Lenox Food Pantry and the FISH Food Pantry in Lockport.

Congrats to the Lockport Campus for their Saturday service SPLASH!  More than 300 people rocked it at their first Saturday service on February 11, 2012. Can't wait to see what amazing things God has in store for the Lockport family!

LOVE MOVES provides information and encouragement for those who are interested in Adoption, Foster Care, and Safe Families. Through this ministry, Parkview has partnered with the Abba Fund that is available to Parkview families to help with the high cost of adoption by providing interest-free loans, and because of your generosity to our Cannonball mission, Parkview has contributed $50,000 to the Abba Fund.

A 19-member team from Parkview traveled to Cancun, Mexico on a construction / VBS mission trip. Pastor Juan, his family, and his church were such gracious hosts, and the Parkview team was very blessed to work with them to advance God's Kingdom in Mexico! In all, 15 adults and children gave their hearts to Jesus!! SPLASH!
